AI Thread Summary
A name not in bold typically indicates that the user's email address needs to be updated or confirmed. New users may also appear un-bolded until their account verification is complete. A name with a line through it signifies that the user has been banned, which can be either temporary or permanent. The bold font indicates that the email provided during registration is valid. Understanding these distinctions helps clarify user status on the forum.

The bold font means that your email seems to work (that is, the email you gave when you signed up). So the un-bolded member should update their email address.

Sometimes a new user will be un-bolded until their account has been confirmed.

And yes, the line through the name means the person has been banned, which may be temporary or permanent.
