Awesome!

Yes this is a great place to find info on interior design.

Someone once questioned this guy’s ability to count; it seems he lacked imagination, too (possibly restricted to chasing beams of light and such):

Welcome to PF Marcus,

Since the reason for your post is interior design, how did you find us ? Google search perhaps ? And oh, by the way, do you have a choice of fish, for the initiation rites of the inglorious "Fish Slap".

Rhody...

Welcome to PF Marcus.

Cut the guy a break - it's very easy to confuse Physics with interior design.

Interested in the interior design field? Is there a notation for that in field theory?

Hello Marcus and welcome to PF  What sort of interior design are you talking about? The architectural one that would require some knowledge of engineering and physics or interior decorating? I think some of the members are not clear...including me

Anyways I'm sure you can find information here on whichever one, the members here have a diverse set of interests

Maybe it has something to do with Marshall fields, which are well known from studies of the imperturbability of elevator operators:

Welcome to PF marcus! :)

We're waiting! The fish, which one is your favorite?

I traveled through time all the way from 1987 to say this: Welcome marcus!

I have no idea what an interior design is though...

So, for adminstration purposes: the fish??

Alright drizzle, micromass, Are you ready, marcus ? Click on the two thumbnails, then watch the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLdK9zaLaG8".

Then, and only then, are you unofficially recognized as a PF member.

Everyone, give marcus a hand after he/she has washed off the fish slime... and reported back to the thread, can you say, eww...

We should have a "fish slapping festival" where every PFer can have revenge from all those who slap him/her.... Wait! WAIT! I take that back!

Rhody...

Sadly, I think my diagnosis is correct. "Last Activity: Apr26-11 01:25 AM", who knows, maybe marcus is a virtual spammer and not human, perhaps he is computer software instead.

Last chance, marcus... to prove us otherwise...

Rhody...

Or maybe he figured out we are not an interior design forum.

Sorry to intrude but how come I never got slapped with a fish even though I have been around for more than a year?

aim,

It is because we are consistently inconsistent. Some like yourself may relish it, while others may be a bit put off to the point of being offended. Different strokes for different folks. I think it is a nice way to get aquainted, with a chuckle, a good ice breaker.

Offended by what, a fish?

I think it is kind of disgustingly cute. The image is sufficiently comic...
