What is it like to be a non-native English speaker studying physics?

My name is Yoon. I'm 19 years old. I am undergraduate student and studying physics. I am glad to be a part of this community. By the way, my mother language is not english, I ıll be very glad if you guys correct any mistake.

Like all languages there are always other ways to say things and my English is not the best even though I've lived in the US all my life. The "corrections" I made are very minor based on your very understandable English. I hope you don't mind.

So you are majoring in Physics, right? That was the one thing I wasn't sure of when I made the changes to what you said.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
