What is it like to pursue a career in Medical Physics?

Hello! I'm a 17 year old girl that is seriously considering a career in Medical Physics. At the moment I am enrolled as a dual enrollment student at my local community college and am on track to graduate high school with my Associate of Science degree. I joined this forum to try and get a little more of the feel of what it is to be a physicist and to get a few questions answered that I had. So hello there!
