What is the significance of Mudpie in understanding material properties?

Hello, I chose Mudpie, MegaPermibilityDistancePowerCurrentEnergy, so that's me. yep the guy that wants to understand things and how they relate to things. kind of materialistic, but a good place to start I hope you all agree.
