I'm Steve Crow, presently retired in Boulder, Colorado. I attended Caltech as both an undergraduate and graduate and got my PhD in 1966. The degree is in "Aeronautics and Applied Mathematics", but I have always been interested in physics, especially cosmology. I spent my career in aerospace engineering but got a Masters degree in architecture in 2005, mostly for fun. I lived for the past five years in Thailand, all for fun, and returned to the United States this year with my new Thai wife and her daughter. Relativistic cosmology is my first serious hobby in Boulder.

Welcome to PF, Steve Crow.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
