AI Thread Summary
The Michio Kaku forums were shut down and erased from his website, but some threads may have been archived. Users are advised that the archived content has been merged into the General Physics section, making it harder to locate specific threads. The Wayback Machine is suggested as a resource for retrieving snapshots of the original forums. This tool can help users find the discussions they are interested in revisiting. Accessing the archive may require some searching and patience.

Being a former member of the Michio Kaku forums which shut down and was erased from Dr. Michio Kaku's website, a thread in this forums stated that the Michio Kaku forums and threads were saved in the archive section of this site. Where is the archive located so that the threads can be revisited?

Unfortunately for you they weren't kept together but instead merged into General Physics. Hopefully you can find success in searching for the threads you are interested in.

Anyway, I finally got a paper on the same matter as discussed in those forum threads, the fat lens model, got it peer-reviewed, and IJRAP...
About 20 years ago, in my mid-30s (and with a BA in economics and a master's in business), I started taking night classes in physics hoping to eventually earn the science degree I'd always wanted but never pursued. I found physics forums and used it to ask questions I was unable to get answered from my textbooks or class lectures. Unfortunately, work and life got in the way and I never got further the freshman courses. Well, here it is 20 years later. I'm in my mid-50s now, and in a...
