Why isn't IR on the front forum page so it is easily found?

It makes it difficult for newbees to surf the forum.

Can Administration please make IR more accessible?

There is a link to IR on board view. Remember that the threads there are moderated, so why should it be more visible to 'newbies'?

If you are referring to the Independent Research forum, it does appear on the forum main page. The link is found below General Physics.
 
I want to thank those members who interacted with me a couple of years ago in two Optics Forum threads. They were @Drakkith, @hutchphd, @Gleb1964, and @KAHR-Alpha. I had something I wanted the scientific community to know and slipped a new idea in against the rules. Thank you also to @berkeman for suggesting paths to meet with academia.
