Book for help in stat and thermal physics

In summary, a book for help in stat and thermal physics is a comprehensive resource designed to provide a solid understanding of statistical mechanics and thermal physics concepts. It covers topics such as thermodynamics, statistical ensembles, phase transitions, and transport phenomena, and can benefit scientists by providing a foundation for understanding complex systems and serving as a reference for problem-solving and research. Recommended books on the subject include "Thermal Physics" by Kittel and Kroemer, "Statistical Mechanics" by Pathria, and "Introduction to Modern Statistical Mechanics" by Chandler, but prior knowledge of physics and mathematical tools is necessary for understanding the content.

This is a general question. In struggling hard in my stat and thermal physics course, especially with homework from kittel and kroemer. I am looking for another book that would have more examples so that I can have an easier time with home work problems. Would anyone have any suggestions ?
