We often hear of ionized water, purified water. How does it help in our health? I mean to say what is the difference between drinking water and purified/ionized water.
Thanks,

ImaLooser said:Right. But that's not very much
Ionized water is created by passing regular tap water through an ionization process, usually through an ionizing machine. This process separates the water into two streams, one alkaline and one acidic. The alkaline water contains a higher concentration of negatively charged ions, while the acidic water contains a higher concentration of positively charged ions.
The smaller cluster size of the water molecules in ionized water allows for easier absorption and hydration at a cellular level. This means that the body can absorb more water and nutrients from ionized water compared to regular tap water, which can help improve overall hydration levels.
Some potential benefits of drinking ionized water include improved hydration, increased energy levels, improved digestion, detoxification, and anti-aging properties. However, more research is needed to fully understand the potential benefits of ionized water.
While there is some evidence that ionized water may have potential health benefits, there is not enough scientific research to support its use as a treatment for specific health conditions. It is always best to consult with a healthcare professional before using ionized water for any health concerns.
Ionized water is often confused with alkaline water, but they are not the same. Alkaline water has a higher pH level, while ionized water has a higher concentration of negative ions. Ionized water may also contain some alkaline properties, but the two should not be used interchangeably as they have different effects on the body.
