I have completed Ph.d. in macromolecular science, recently. I want to pursue post doc in the same subject. So, i want to know about the institutes in USA, Germany, Cannada etc., which offers these positions.
Thanks
Thanks
Macromolecular science is a field of study that focuses on the synthesis, structure, and properties of large molecules, such as proteins, nucleic acids, and polymers. It involves using various techniques and methods to investigate the behavior and interactions of these molecules, as well as their applications in different fields.
A post doc in macromolecular science is a research position that is typically taken after completing a PhD in a related field. It involves conducting independent research under the guidance of a principal investigator, and may also involve teaching and mentoring responsibilities. The goal of a post doc is to gain further expertise and experience in the field, and to prepare for a career in academia or industry.
Some tips for succeeding as a post doc in macromolecular science include setting clear research goals, being proactive in seeking out collaborations and networking opportunities, staying organized, and maintaining a good work-life balance. It is also important to communicate effectively with your supervisor and colleagues, and to continuously learn and develop new skills.
There are a variety of career paths that someone with a post doc in macromolecular science can pursue. Some may choose to continue in academia as a professor or research scientist, while others may transition to industry positions in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or materials science. Other potential career paths include government research positions, science policy, or science communication.
Some current research topics in macromolecular science include developing new methods for protein and polymer synthesis, studying the structure and function of biomolecules, designing new materials with unique properties, and exploring the use of macromolecules in drug delivery and gene therapy. Other areas of research include nanotechnology, bioengineering, and sustainability in polymer science.
