When calculating the required area for a radiator using the equation
Mass flow rate of air = Required Area x density of air x velocity of air
Does the Required Area mean the Surface area on both sides of the radiator OR does it mean the total surface area of the cooling fins and tubes etc. ?
The value that I acquired is 0.6387m^2 which seems to be substantially larger than I expected.
thanks in advance
