Wireless problem -- laptop's wireless connection suprisingly weakened

In summary, there could be a few reasons for a weakened wireless connection on a laptop, including interference, software issues, or problems with the router or internet service provider. To fix it, one can try restarting both the laptop and router, updating wireless drivers, or using an ethernet cable. A virus or malware can also affect the connection, so it's important to regularly scan for malicious software. The laptop's wireless card or antenna may also be weaker than other devices, so updating drivers or using a USB adapter can help. To prevent future issues, regularly updating software and drivers, changing the wireless channel, and keeping both the laptop and router well-ventilated can be helpful.

Hi, My laptop's wireless connection suprisingly weakened. I use a Windows 8.1 laptop. I thought it was related to updates but after I installed updates waiting to be installed, problem hasn't change. There is not problem for other laptops so source of wireless has not a problem.

Thank you.
