Gravity's Work on Mass Sliding Down Incline at 35 Degrees
Second question: What is the speed of the mass by the time it slides to the bottom of the ramp if theta is 35 degrees, and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the mass and the incline is zero? Related equations: Um, not sure. Kinda stuck on this part lol. Attempt...- ._|evo|_.

Gravity's Work on Mass Sliding Down Incline at 35 Degrees
Homework Statement A 50 kg mass is released from rest and begins to slide from the top of the incline (2.0 m). Th coefficient of kinetic friction between the mass and the inclines u how much work does gravity do on the mass by the time it slides to the bottom of the ramp if the angle theta...- ._|evo|_.

Forces and Laws of Motion Problem
Homework Statement A car with a mass of 1100 kg is being pulled by a tow truck exerts a 500 N force on the car and there is a 300 N friction force acting on the car. If the car starts at rest at time t=0, at what time has the truck moved 100 meters? Homework Equations x=v0t + 1/2 at2...- ._|evo|_.

What is the explanation behind Newton's Laws?
Like how you can apply them to stuff. I just need someone to recap in simple words, I'm not really good at big fat definitions. I'm also asking cause my teacher keeps on emphasizing that Newton's laws 1 & 3 are pretty much useless, and only 2 is important.- ._|evo|_.

What Forces Act on a Car Pushing a Block in Physics?
they are action-reaction pairs I think, but no, they are separate forces. Remember to label each one with a different name.- ._|evo|_.

What Forces Act on a Car Pushing a Block in Physics?
alright, i'll attach something for you Note: Remember that no matter what your object is, it will remain as a box. Do not bother into details, only what that object (or system) it is.- ._|evo|_.

How Do You Calculate Tension in a Dual Hanging Bucket System?
I'm not sure about this either, but there is an equation for tension...what was it...well, one such formula is F=mg, where m is mass, and g is gravity (9.8 meters/sec squared). Another one is Tension = g * (m1 * m2) / (m1 + m2) * (1 + sin Theta) or Ft = Fg + m- ._|evo|_.

Magnitude of Friction Force Problem
1. A car with a mass of 1100 kg is being pulled by a tow truck. The tow truck pulls the car to the north with a constant 1200 N force, while a friction force pushes the car towards the south. Starting from rest, the truck pulls the car 60 meters toward the north in 25 seconds. What is the...- ._|evo|_.
