MHB Investigate Convergence of tanx Series: Find Common Ratio & Sum to Infinity

Thank you, The last part, how do you derive that the sum to infinity is 1 \div(1 - tanx)? Is it according to the Sum to infinity formula? To find the answer do I use 1 \div(1 - tan(45))? 1\div1 - tan(45) , Cant divide by 0.. ? Or do I just leave it as 1\div(1 - tanx)

MHB Investigate Convergence of tanx Series: Find Common Ratio & Sum to Infinity

Hi, Please help me with this question: Investigate the convergence of the sequence tanx;tan2x;tan3x;...;tannx for xE(-90;90 degrees). Steps to follow: Find common ratio. Draw the graph. For which values will x converge. Determine sum to infinity. I did try to solve, but file type too...

MHB How to Solve Exponential Equations?

Awesome, the way the questioned was asked confused me.. Another way of saying it then is - Solve for 2^x.. But it doesn't yet mean to solve for x right? Then Question 1.2.3, can you shed some light on that one pls?

MHB How to Solve Exponential Equations?

Hi, I attached a pdf with a question and its answers. I don't understand the whole thing basically, e.g what their asking for.. 1.2.1;1.2.2;1.2.3 1.2.2 - How many solutions for x will the equation have..? 1.2.3 - Largest integer for which it will have solutions..? Any explanations will...

    Series parallel combination circuit

I know his First law(current law), and Second law(Voltage law). Are you talking about one of them? Just another question, if Resistor three is short circuited, does it add to the total resistance of the circuit or do I just ignore it?

    Series parallel combination circuit

Hello, I re-attached my attempt, please have a look. I need to solve for the total resistance, current through I1, voltage over R6, and current through I5. I made an attempt by reducing the circuit to a simpler circuit. What confuses me is the current through I5, and whether R3 actually makes...
