Expansion of a basketball with temperature

I'm a bit confused because isn't the Ideal Gas Law equation Pressure (x) Volume = # of moles (x) 0.0821 atm (x) Temperature? If I do that equation, I have the volume and temperature, but what about the pressure and moles? I don't even know how I would find mol in the problem.

How Accurate Are My Chemistry Calculations?

Am I doing these right?? 1)How many moles of Li3N will be produced if you begin with 8.5 moles of Li ? **Do I just find the moles for 3N and add them to the 8.5 moles of Li?** 2)Calculate the number of atoms in 20.5 g Carbon **I guess I would Multiply Carbon's atoms by 20.5?**...

Expansion of a basketball with temperature

Another problem with an equation I don't know.I'm sooo going to fail this test if I don't get some help... A basketball with a volume of 4.75 Liters is left in a car when the temperature is 298 K. What will the volume of the ball be as the car heats up to 309 K during the day?

Calculating Volume Change of a Gas with Constant Temperature and Pressure

Homework Statement A gas with a volume of 2.75 L is known to contain 0.766 mol. Keeping the temperature and pressure constant, if the amount of gas is increased to 2.89 mol, what will be the new volume? The attempt at a solution I got 5.84 L. Is that correct?
