Undergrad Acceleration & Special Relativity: Explained
So my question arises from the whole time dilation thought experiment where one person stays on Earth the other speeds off in a rocket at near light speed. Upon return of course the one in the rocket is younger, etc. The reason I bring this up is how do we determine who is actually moving...- delsaber8

Simple concentration problem but something's wrong
ok I feel really dumb about this, I realized that the concentration I was using was of coke that was heavily diluted, after going through some ratios I got a much more reasonable answer of 671mg/L- delsaber8

Simple concentration problem but something's wrong
yes I believe it become 3H++PO42- -> H3PO4 but since the ratio is the same between the phosphate and the phosphoric acid they should have the same concentration. PLEASE do correct me if I am mistaken, Thanks!- delsaber8

Simple concentration problem but something's wrong
This is exactly as typed in the question: Show the calculations for determining the phosphate ion concentration in the original Coke and converting the moles of phosphate / litre of Coke into grams of H3PO4/355 mL can and mg of H3PO4/1 L. Now you may notice there are more questions than those...- delsaber8

Simple concentration problem but something's wrong
I have an answer of 2.8616 mg/L, the reason I fear my answer is wrong is because my prof gave an answer which was several orders of magnitude different.- delsaber8

Simple concentration problem but something's wrong
Ok so I think I have a suitable answer to my question but because of certain circumstances I have reason to believe my answer is wrong. The question is: calculate the amount of phosphoric acid in mgH3PO4/L in a solution of concentration 2.92X10^-5 mol/L. seems pretty straight forward but...- delsaber8

High School How to understand Logarithms, Fundamentally
Lol, will do. I actually think I have a good grasp now that you showed me the exponential form, I assume everything should fall into place.- delsaber8

High School How to understand Logarithms, Fundamentally
Alright so my problem is if I don't see exactly how things work (in math) I can't use them. Like what I mean is some people use memorization and other methods but I really need to understand things deep down to be successful. So my problem is, I have trouble understanding logarithms. Now I...- delsaber8

Importance of fusion stage in thermonuclear weapon
I only managed to skim the article but does it mention anything about the explosive lenses used in the pit, to compress the plutonium into a super critical mass?- delsaber8

Undergrad Moving fairground light, thought experiment
My apologize for the confusion, I completely agree that is not relativity of simultaneity. I was referring to pervect's post, in which he talks about the lights flashing in different orders, which is more or less what I meant by a different series.- delsaber8

Importance of fusion stage in thermonuclear weapon
I'm thinking I have a better handle on the whole cross section thing, and the temperature dependence. Now forgive my if I'm wrong, but is this the reason U-238 can be used in the jacket stage of a nuclear weapon, because the temperature is so high?- delsaber8

Undergrad Moving fairground light, thought experiment
I see, so then why exactly could different observers, observe the flashes of light in a different series? Again my apologize my background is little to nothing in this field.- delsaber8

Undergrad Moving fairground light, thought experiment
By the sounds of it, we are dealing with relativity of simultaneity, similar to the classic train problem. Now I've always had a bit of trouble understanding this concept. I understood the one with the car crashes on separate sides of the world. Now I know what happens in this case but I don't...- delsaber8
