High Volts Low Amps: Sustaining Power with Arduino & MOSFET
Hello, I have a limited knowledge of electronic engineering, so please bear with me. I want to Have a device that I could have high volts with low amps and have the power be sustained. Then I could possibly use an Arduino with a silicon carbide MOSFET to do precise pause with modulation. The...- EagleOnePro

What are some options for H-bridge ICs to power 12V 3.6A loads?
Hi, I am in the market for an H-bridge IC to power 12V 3.6A through. This is the circuit. http://fritzing.org/projects/drive-motor-using-l293d-sn754410 Do you know where I could get an H-bridge like the one in the diagram? so I can power a bigger load and use 12V 3.6A...- EagleOnePro

Optical Sensor On/Off for 12V 3.6A Battery
I need it to mimic the behavior of the switch. I like the idea of a relay but relays have limited life's and don't last for as much repetitions as I need.- EagleOnePro

Optical Sensor On/Off for 12V 3.6A Battery
Hi all I would like some ideas and pointers on how you think that I could drive my electromagnet to turn on/off with some form of optical sensor. I’m using a 12V 3.6A battery. I’m not too knowledgeable in the optical sensor arena. So if you have any ideas on how I could drive this inductive load...- EagleOnePro

Passive Switch for NPN or MOSFET Ideas?
sorry about my poor clarity. when I sed PWM I ment to manually turn on/off the electromagnet with a passive switch. Perhaps photo electric like a photo-interrupter. If you have any ideas of a beater switch for the mosfet or the npn I would be thankful.- EagleOnePro

Passive Switch for NPN or MOSFET Ideas?
Hi I would like some advice on what you think I should use as a passive switch for my NPN or MOSFET transistor. I am trying to PWM pulse with modulate an electromagnet with a 12V 3.6A battery and I want to have a passive switch. I have tried to use photo interrupters in the past but I am not...- EagleOnePro

Can I Use PWM to Control My Electromagnet with a MOSFET and 12V Battery?
Hi, I need help with my electro magnet pulse with modulation PWM. I have a Velleman® IR Light Barrier Kit from Radio Shack and this kit is ment to turn on and off a 9V buzzer. But instead of soldering in the buzzer I tried to hook it up to a MOSFET transistor NTE2984 so that I could use it with...- EagleOnePro
