Ok. I seem to understand what the term is. So in this case the Wa is velocity of precession, h is the moment of impuls percessing and the product without inertia term is the torque of precession?
Usually in textbooks they explain precession by applying torque to L and getting W from it, but...
I am not really solving an exercise for homework so hopefully this general forum is OK for my question.
For my thesis, what is attitude control of a flying object with a reaction wheel, I am learning the basics from this NASA Technical Report:
http://www.hot.ee/ronn/design_glob_anal_...
I am just starting to learn about attitude estimation and control of a flying(or actually, a freefalling) vehicle. There will be inputs from accelerometers and gyroscopes, Kalman filtering to estimate the correct attitude and control algorithm to achieve the desired attitude.
I am still...
Check www.ekahau.fi . They make RFID tags based on 802.11 wireless technology. Having multiple WiFi Access Points around, this technology can also determine the position of the tags.
I am also interested in getting a better understanding of physics, than my engineering(EE) program gives me.
A year ago, I bought Feynman lectures on physics. Very nice reading, but without examples or problems all the nice theory got lost. I am particularly interested in getting a deeper...
I guess it depends how good are you at multitasking and how fast you take notes. I personally am not fast enough even for just taking the notes, forget about thinking with the class and understanding in depth what is being talked about. So I just listen and think in the lecture.
A few weeks...
