How do I attemp such a Question?
you are making your life complicated... this question is doable according to your prof. You are thinking too hard.. it's a really simple question. you are messing with too many variables. just think about what the doubling is affecting.. sorry I cannot help.. I have class to get to.- ilovephysicssomuch

What Happens When CBr4 Reacts with 1-Butene in the Presence of Peroxides?
just wondering  does the Br attach to the methyl group making it CH2Br-cyclopenane? or does it attach to the carbon that is attached the the methyl group making it 1-bromo-1-methylcyclopentane?- ilovephysicssomuch

Oscillations and Waves of a spring
my work Here is my work... I'm not 100% sure.. This questions is hard... Mass = 2.00 kg F= 20.0 N x = 0.200m (a) finding K F= 0.5kx^2 if that is the right formula 20.0 N = 0.5k(0.2)^2 K= 1000 N/m (b) Since w is also frequency but is in s^-1 w= (k/m)^1/2 w= (1000/2.00)^1/2 w=...- ilovephysicssomuch

Oscillations and Waves of a spring
Can someone please help me with this question? A 2.00-kg object is attached to a spring and placed on a horizontal, smooth surface. A horizontal force of 20.0 N is required to hold the object at rest when it is pulled 0.200 m from its equilibrium position (the origin of the x axis)...- ilovephysicssomuch

How do I attemp such a Question?
 Can someone please help me? A horizontal string can transmit a maximum power (without breaking) if a wave with amplitude A and angular frequency is traveling along it. To increase this maximum power, a student folds the string and uses this "double string" as a medium. Determine...- ilovephysicssomuch

Smallest Heat of Combustion: Cyclopentane
Ok.. Final Answer... I changed my mind.. to have the smallest heat of combustion, the compound must be the least stable.. and if we had 5 choices: A) Cyclopentane B) Methylcyclopropane C)1,1-Dimethylcyclopropane D) cis-1,2-dimethylcyclopropane E) trans-1,2-Dimethylcyclopropane C)...- ilovephysicssomuch

Smallest Heat of Combustion: Cyclopentane
Well... cis-1,2-dimethylcyclopropane has a larger negative heat of combustion than trans-1,2-Dimethylcyclopropane. The c-c bonds in cyclopropane are bent... which makes for weaker bonds.. so now its E- ilovephysicssomuch
