DFT used electron density instead wavefunction, and in same time DFT use Schrodinger equation that use wavefunction. !??
so it still depend on wavefunction of Kohn-Sham and not depend on density only non interaction system wavefunction of still stand

tell your dad that electron not mass only . it is wave too. so the wave motion is completely different from classical interpreation of body like planets
and all theory need to prove ... so you have the prove and he not ... so tell him to give reasonable reason to make new theory for quantum...
