Bonus: How much energy did the bat transmit to the ball?
Homework Statement Bonus: How much energy did the bat transmit to the ball? (Note: if the bat gave energy to the ball, then this is a positive number. If the bat absorbed energy from the ball, then this is a negative number.) Homework Equations I have absolutely no idea... Ek=1/2mv^2...- laurenyntema

When the rocket reaches its maximum height, what is its kinetic energy?
Ok, thanks! I actually understand! Because kinetic energy is the energy due to motion, at maximum height the rocket would have a velocity of 0. Therefore, since there is actually no action taking place the kinetic energy is 0.- laurenyntema

When the rocket reaches its maximum height, what is its kinetic energy?
[b]1. A model rocket with a mass of 4.3kg is launched straight up at a speed of 65m/s. Kinetic energy when it takes off is 9083.75 J. Total energy when it takes off is also 9083.75J. When the rocket reaches its maximum height, what is its kinetic energy? [b]2. KE(kinetic energy)=1/2MV^2...- laurenyntema
