Solving a Logic Circuit Puzzle: Minimizing to SOP Form

Ok, so I re-did this problem and got ~C as the final answer. I'm pretty confident that that's the right answer, but please confirm :-P EDIT: Ok, re-did it again and got (A&~B) | (~A&B) | (B&~C) | (~B&~C) More confident this time around :-P

Solving a Logic Circuit Puzzle: Minimizing to SOP Form

http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/9707/test2009or8.jpg Here's a scanned copy of the latest. Not feeling too good about number 1 since I'm getting all zeros on my truth table for number 2.

Solving a Logic Circuit Puzzle: Minimizing to SOP Form

Ok, I went through it and I think that it's one big NAND. so the min sop is NAND(A&B&C) Any confirmation?

How to Implement F1 and F2 Using an 8:1 MUX?

Alright, here's what I got and I'm pretty sure it's wrong (see the note..the MUX I drew is essentially the MUX for F2, and I'm not sure about what to do with the final value relationship between F1(4) and F1(7) Thanks again in advance, -Mikael Edit: I should probably post a link to my work...

How to Implement F1 and F2 Using an 8:1 MUX?

Alright, let me try it and see. the method that I've used for 4:1 is draw the k-map (2 rows, 4 columns) and then derive the mux from that, is this a similar method? I'm assuming so and that's what I'll try again. Thanks for the quick response by the way. -Mikael

How to Implement F1 and F2 Using an 8:1 MUX?

    Homework Statement F1 = AB + AC + BC F2 = (A + C’ + D’)(B + C + D)(A + B’ + C) 2) Draw the 8-to-1 MUX implementation of F1 and F2; show your work. I understand doing a 4:1 of one function, but how do you do an 8:1 with two functions?

    Electrical Engineering MUX help?

Thanks jhicks, but unfortunately I still don't quite get it. My notebook was lost earlier this week with examples, and now I just have this problem off of an old test to go by: http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/8118/456456le3.jpg I understand the k-map and the truth table, but I don't...

    Electrical Engineering MUX help?

Here's an image of the assignment: http://img363.imageshack.us/img363/9125/1331011mg1.jpg 1 and 2 specifically..I think I can get the others knowing 1 and 2, ALSO: I don't want the answers, just the method of obtaining it. I'm completely lost with MUX. Thanks in advance, -M EDIT: I...

Engineering Solving Simple Circuit: Find Voltage Drop & Power Dissipation

Hello everyone. I have some brief questions about a simple circuits problem in my homework. First off, here is the image of the circuit (sorry..drawn in MSPaint.) http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/3271/circuitgh9.jpg The Current Source = 0.5A R1 = 5 Ohms R2 = 25 Ohms R3 = 10 Ohms...
