Question About a Test Charge Near a Conductor
I am confused because I thought this was a method of charging a conductor. Why would the system be reaching a state of equilibrium?

Potential Difference over Capacitors in Series
Yes Dave, the question was asking about the difference across the two capacitors. V1 = V2 as they are in parallel. I did not understand it.
