How Do Electric Charge and Electric Potential Energy Differ?

Just a quick question, what is the difference between electric charge and electric potential energy?

Electric Circuits: Understanding Series Circuit with Three Resistors - HELP!

electric circuits-- HELP! Ok, so I have a quiz on this material tomorrow and I am thoroughly confused. My teacher gave us review problems and I keep getting them wrong. One of them was: Answer the below questions for a case in which three resitors are positioned in a series with a battery and...

these cones are made of paper, so is the difference between the masses of the cones negligible?

    Figuring out relationships with graphs

my data: 10 cm cone: skid distance= 38.9 cm 15 cm cone: skid distance= 22 cm 20 cm cone: s.d.= 12.5 cm 25 cm cone: s.d.= 10 cm 30 cm cone: s.d. = 9.2 cm Now, I know that friction is independent of surface area because the reduction of pressure with increased skid distance offsets the...

    Figuring out relationships with graphs

its exponential. what does that mean about skid distance and cone length? I knew it didn't look like an inverse function, but in theory shouldn't it have been?

    Figuring out relationships with graphs

so wouldn't it just be an inverse relationship because as cone length increases, skid distance decreases?

    Figuring out relationships with graphs

Ok, so as part of a lab, I had to make an excel graph of the relationship between skid distance and cone length (if you want to know more, look at my post below about science fair which was posted yesterday at 6:25 pm). Anyways, I made the graph and I can't tell the relationship between the two...

Question to aid my science fair research

I believe that the mass of the cone is less than the mass of the marble, though I have not weighed them. Would that be a good thing to do? However, I do not want to introduce too many variables. I am mainly focused on the length of the paper cone as opposed to its mass.

Question to aid my science fair research

I am doing a science fair project in which I am trying to find the relationship between skid distance and cone length. In class we used paper cones which were lined up at the bottom of a ramp (as seen in the attached image) and a marble was released. The marble then, after rolling, entered the...
