Help Needed: Looking for Small Electric Motor for 150lbs

Yeah... thanks for your colorful jab at my motion parameters. I'm sure you're great at parties. Otherwise thanks for the rest of the information. I'll do my best to educate myself.

I'm doing a bad job of explaining things. Think hub motor.

Help Needed: Looking for Small Electric Motor for 150lbs

It would be connected by affixing the motor inside the 110mm wheel with the shaft connected to a stationary plate so the body of the motor rotates the wheel. I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping there is something out there. As I said the dimensions are not firm but preferred, and t doesn't...

Help Needed: Looking for Small Electric Motor for 150lbs

I do not know much about motors so I was wondering if you all could help me out a bit here. I am looking for a small electric motor that does not need to accelerate fast, but can propel about 150lbs as fast as possible when connected to a 110mm wheel. It will need to be battery operated. I am a...

    Wave degradation over distances

This is probably a simple question, but here is a little background from which to view the problem. A cellphone tower transmits a 4G data signal at 700Mhz to my smartphone. Assuming that it does reach my phone does the wavelength of that databurst change in transit? Thanks.

Can light act like an object in motion and stand still in an ideal environment?

Which part? The speed of light part? If so can we assume it's possible for this system?

Can light act like an object in motion and stand still in an ideal environment?

In an ideal environment, if a light source is moving directly away from you at the speed of light will the light act like an object that is acted upon by two opposing forces and stand still? Would we be able to see the light source? Thanks! Secman

    Microwave interactions with motion sensors

Thank you very much for your detailed and very helpful response Bobbywhy. I figured that the two scenarios I provided wouldn't be feasible. Some of my clients are high profile tech and weapons research companies so they tend to attract some of the more sophisticated hostiles. What exactly is the...

    Microwave interactions with motion sensors

Hello everyone here at the physics forum. Forgive me if I am not posting this question in the correct forum. I am not a physicist, but I do know my way around a little bit. Now on to my question. I am a security consultant who conducts security audits and specializes more specifically in...
