Undergrad Does time depend on speed; or on velocity?
I do have some theories and researches done (along with my elder brother - friend who is an electrical engineer), but as I don't have a perfect understanding of advanced mathematics, I can only explain them in words. However I don't intend doing that here, moreover, now I came to know it's not...- Shafat Hasan

Undergrad Does time depend on speed; or on velocity?
That wasn't very clear to me. Do you mean it's dependent on speed then? (Apologies for my ignorance).- Shafat Hasan

Undergrad Does time depend on speed; or on velocity?
Does the passage of time depend on speed only or on the direction as well? As far as I understand, the passage of time is different for a person approaching me and different for a person leaving me. So isn't velocity the cause of time? If not, why not? I am not an expert in Physics, I...- Shafat Hasan

Undergrad At what speed is our universe expanding?
All right, I get that. Intelligent discussion there! So when things start to cool down, would life sustain or it means an end to human race?- Shafat Hasan

Undergrad At what speed is our universe expanding?
Fair enough! That helped :). I have been studying about how the universe might end, since many months, and I do know about the concept of the closed universe, open universe, and another one which I currently don't remember the name. But if am not wrong, the universe is not infinite. To make it...- Shafat Hasan

Undergrad At what speed is our universe expanding?
As you said the expansion rate is dropping, does that mean the universe is preparing for a Big Crunch? I am using the layman's term, but I am sure you get it. Is the universe indicating that the end will be a rolling back of everything, like the theory of Big Crunch?- Shafat Hasan

Undergrad At what speed is our universe expanding?
I didn't mean that we are researching whether the universe is expanding or not, I actually meant that we are researching on whether the rate of expansion is increasing or decreasing or is constant, like you said :D. Thanks for the help sir :).- Shafat Hasan

Undergrad At what speed is our universe expanding?
I know this question is quite odd as we're still researching on this, but is the universe speeding up, aka, accelerating? Or is the speed constant? Or is it slowing down? Thoughts? (PS - I don't know what the prefixes B I A means, I have chosen a random A, please consider if it's wrong, am...- Shafat Hasan

Engineering Languages to learn for AE (Aerospace Engineering)
The Aviation Industry and the Aerospace Industry is pretty much related. Being in the Aviation Industry, I would say, you won't really need any language other than English. English is the official language for radio communication in Aviation and elsewhere as well. The rest are all in English...- Shafat Hasan

Studying Time in Physics: Master's/Bachelor's Degrees
Hi there. I am really interested in the topic of "time". Being a layman in Physics, I don't really understand much about it. Though I work in the Aviation Industry and want to pursue my career there, I also wish to do a bachelor's degree in Physics if possible. And probably a master's too. I...- Shafat Hasan

Graduate Speed and / or expansion rate of the Universe?
Is it true that the universe itself expands faster than c = 3 × 10^8 m/s at some places / areas / points. I have heard it but wasn't able to confirm. Because outside of the the universe, there ain't anything as far as we understand and hence the universe should not have to follow any law as...- Shafat Hasan

Electrical Engineering BS to Aerospace Engineering MS
Not to discourage you but if am being honest, it will be difficult. If you're smart enough (which I believe you are ;)), then it should be fine. The easiest part for you will definitely be the electronic side of aerospace, which is avionics if you join aeronautical engineering. All the best :).- Shafat Hasan
