I have big interests in both physics and chemistry and I have separate ideas of research I can do some that involve physics with no chemistry and some that involve chemistry with no physics and some that use both sciences. Can I find a career where I can study chemistry and physics sometimes seperately and other times interdisciplinary?

Physical chemistry is on the physics side of chemistry. It's a wide field, I'm sure there are many areas that would interest you.
