Advice on language filters.

On a message board that I'm moderating, we have a language filter installed. We frankly don't mind bad language, but the problem is many of our users acess from colleges, libraries etc, which block pages with bad language in them. One of our users has figured out that inserting tags into a word like this "tur[ b][/b]nip" will bypass our filters. Does anyone know if this will work to bypass the filters and web blockers that the college networks etc. use?

It'll be missed by automated filters and web blockers. Of course, the companies that maintain block lists have real people working for them, too, and such a trick won't fool the people.
