AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around the excitement and safety of skydiving and indoor skydiving experiences. One participant expresses a diminished desire to skydive due to hearing about bad experiences from others, despite knowing a diving instructor who argued for its safety. The conversation highlights the appeal of free-fall in skydiving compared to indoor alternatives, while also noting that indoor skydiving offers a fun experience without the same risks. There is a playful suggestion for a trip to Vegas for indoor skydiving, and a humorous offer to throw a friend out of an airplane. The camaraderie among participants is evident, with plans to take photos and share laughs after the experience.

This looks like fun.

For a long time I thought that I wanted to skydive, but I have met two people who had bad experiences and this killed the desire a bit. I also knew a guy who was a diving instructor who always argued how safe it was as a sport. He quit diving after his first kid was born.

But when you skydive, you get several seconds of free-fall. Here you don't. :frown:

Skydiving is perfectly safe. No one ever died while falling through air.

It would almost be worth the trip for that alone...

Tsu still wants to skydive. I keep offering to throw her out of the airplane.

Hooray, it's in the UK too!

Give me and Woolie a bell when you're over, we'll come and take the photos and mock you in the pub afterwards!

I like the Tsssshu, tsssshu, in the intro, it is all most as if it is calling some one
