# Algebra of functions

I'm not too confident with problems dealing with the algebra of functions. For example, how would you approach this problem:

Function f satisfies: f(xy) = f(x)/y
If f(500) = 3, what is f(600)?

Thanks

$$f(xy)=\frac{f(x)}{y}$$
Now, if
$$xy=500$$ and $$x=600$$
can you figure out what $$y$$ is?

600=500*(6/5)

Ah! Simple enough. Thanks a bunch.
