AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the confusion regarding the hard drive specifications of a specific model, the AOA150-1635. While the header indicates a 160 GB hard drive, the product specs mention only 8 GB. However, other retailers confirm the 160 GB capacity, suggesting that this is the correct information. Users express concerns about the device's capabilities, noting that it is designed for basic applications and may only handle one task at a time. This raises questions about multitasking, such as whether applications like MS Word must be closed before opening others. Additionally, there is inquiry about the device's ability to run specific software, like the Dev C++ compiler, indicating a need for clarity on its performance with programming tools.

I want it as a compact alternative to carrying my bigger MBP to and from school each day.

My only confusion is this: In the header it says 160 GB hard drive.

but down in the product specs it says 8 GB hard drive.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Googleing the model number AOA150-1635, I found it a Best Buy and Staples, and on both sites, it says 160GB hard drive, so I think you are good with that.

Cool. What does it mean:
They do not have the same capabilities as notebook computers. They are built to run basic applications and execute one task at a time.

One task at a time? I am not sure I follow. Does that mean I have to close one application (like MS Word) before I open another (like connect to internet or open MS Excel)?

Can I run my Dev C++ compiler on it?

Thread 'ChatGPT Examples, Good and Bad'
I've been experimenting with ChatGPT. Some results are good, some very very bad. I think examples can help expose the properties of this AI. Maybe you can post some of your favorite examples and tell us what they reveal about the properties of this AI. (I had problems with copy/paste of text and formatting, so I'm posting my examples as screen shots. That is a promising start. But then I provided values V=1, R1=1, R2=2, R3=3 and asked for the value of I. At first, it said...
Sorry if 'Profile Badge' is not the correct term. I have an MS 365 subscription and I've noticed on my Word documents the small circle with my initials in it is sometimes different in colour document to document (it's the circle at the top right of the doc, that, when you hover over it it tells you you're signed in; if you click on it you get a bit more info). Last night I had four docs with a red circle, one with blue. When I closed the blue and opened it again it was red. Today I have 3...
