Homework Statement


For each of the following statements, determine whether is is correct or incorrect.

A. An iron plate has a hole cut in its center. When the plate is heated, the hole gets smaller.

B. When the Celsius temperature doubles, the Fahrenheit temperature doubles.

C. Cold objects do not radiate heat energy.

D. When the pendulum of a grandfather clock is heated, the clock runs more slowly.

E. In a bimetallic strip of brass and copper which curls when heated, the brass is on the inside of the curve.

F. When heat is added to a system, the temperature must rise.

Hmmm, your answers don't look any different than what was in your first post. But anyway, reconsider your answer for F.
