Are UFOs Mentioned in Ezekiel and Revelation?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around interpretations of biblical texts, particularly the Book of Ezekiel, which some participants suggest contains descriptions resembling UFOs. The imagery in Ezekiel, including visions of wheels and living creatures, is highlighted as potentially indicative of extraterrestrial phenomena. The conversation also touches on the idea that God could be viewed as an alien, referencing beliefs from various groups, including Mormons and the Raelians, who interpret divine beings as extraterrestrial. Participants debate the nature of these visions, with some asserting they are metaphorical rather than literal. Additionally, there is mention of a poll indicating a significant portion of Americans believe in alien visitation, reflecting a broader cultural interest in the intersection of spirituality and extraterrestrial life. The discussion encourages readers to explore biblical texts for deeper meanings beyond the UFO narrative, suggesting that interpretations may vary widely based on personal beliefs and understanding.

Recently i read a Bible because i heard that you can find UFO in it. Well I think i did. I found it in chapter called "Hesekiel" . If you have a Bible at home then please read this chapter and tell me what do you think of it. Also i found UFO in Relevation of Johannes.

Is it possible that The God is really an alien?

In English, that's "Ezekiel." Its been a while since I've read it...
And I looked, and, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, with a fire infolding itself, and a brightness round about it, and out of the midst thereof as it were glowing metal, out of the midst of the fire. 1:5 And out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures...
Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold, one wheel upon the Earth beside the living creatures, for each of the four faces thereof. 1:16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto a beryl: and they four had one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel within a wheel. 1:17 When they went, they went in their four directions: they turned not when they went. 1:18 As for their rims, they were high and dreadful; and they four had their rims full of eyes round about. 1:19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

No, I don't think God is an alien - but from what I understand, the Mormons do.

This is the "Zoa" =also in "Daniel"
(and as you mentioned, The Revelation of John)

These are "Visions" -IMO

There is a book called "Ezekiel's Spaceship" (?)
by a NASA engineer...likely out of print, but popular,
early '70's.

The Raelians 'believe' Elohim (God of Genesis) is a 'Spaceman'

The 'founder ' of the Black Muslims has written along the same line of thought...this idea is actually 'popular' among numerous 'cults'...and on the other hand there's popular 'belief' the UFOs are entirely of 'demonic' orgin...and planning a 'fake' Second Coming of Christ.

Whatever you're thinking--you're not alone!

If ET is here then this gets interesting. Since I don't know if he is I prefer not to speculate. I will say that even many of the devout ET believers fail to offer any specific definitions for concepts like "trans-dimensional beings". I have wondered at times if this might be similar to notions such as incorporeal or spiritual. Then of course we have the good vs evil problem to consider.

Don't have time to read all those links, but the christiananswers.net link is extemely faithful to what little the Bible actually sys about angels. Most of the people hear and see about them is not Bible-based.

As for the overall topic of this thread, as someone already said, the moving throne in Ezekiel is a vision; Ezekiel didn't say it was actually in a real place. So it's clearly intended figuratively. But, of course, angels can be called ETs or aliens. Strictly speaking that's accurate, even though they're non-corporeal.

American Survey on Alien Visitors
November 29, 2000 08:32 CDT
A recent poll by ABC News showed that 25 percent of Americans believe aliens have visited the earth. Two thirds of that percentage admit that it's just speculation on their part. One third, however, believe evidence exists of alien visits, ranging from Ezekiel to Roswell, NM.

A full 47 percent believe intelligent life exists in a physical form on other planets, but 45 percent do not believe this to be the case. The demographic differences are interesting: men are more likely than women to believe in aliens, 51 to 43 percent. Younger adults are more likely to believe. Adults with less education are not convinced, nor are Republicans.

How come nobody is mentioning the fiery chariot of Elijah?
Hasn’t anyone here really read and studied the bible writings for themselves?

I have tried but i don't have enouch strenght to do it. I fell asleep.

Now there is a real sleeping pill, the “who begat who’s”. [zz)]

Use a word search to find interesting tid bits of information. Remember that it is written in very old and non-technical languages, so a “fiery chariot drawn by fiery horses” would obviously not mean the cart and horses were burning. Words like fire were used for lights at night also. Your word searches will take time to develop, but then you will start to see what the book really talks about. There is a whole lot more in there besides UFO’s. The very reason why the ET’s would be here is in there.
