atmospheric pressure is always exert on downward direction??

atmospheric pressure is always exerted on downward direction...but can i think soo it exerted in horizontal and also atmospheric pressure exerts from downward direction is it true?

Atmospheric pressure is related to gravity and the mass of the atmosphere, but the pressure is in all directions, outwards as well as vertical, although there will be a pressure gradient due to gravity (less pressure as altitude increases).

Whoever or whatever is banning these people with the recent posts, if it's based on his/her ip address, ever consider the possibility that there could be more than one person in that household, or is it the policy to ban entire households due to one bad member of a household? I don't recall any recent controversial threads, so I'm not sure what started all of this.
