AI Thread Summary
A user seeks recommendations for a mathematics package capable of solving the Einstein Field equations, specifically one that can compute covariant derivatives, calculate the Riemann curvature tensor, and minimize the Einstein-Hilbert action. Suggestions include a Wolfram library resource, although its feature set may not fully meet the user's needs. Another recommendation is xAct, which is noted for its capabilities, with examples available on GitHub to demonstrate its functionality.

Hello can anyone recommend me a good mathematics package for solving the Einstein Field equations. You know one that can easily compute covariant derivatives and calculate the Reinman curvature tensor and can also minimize the Einstien Hilbert Action?
