Yes, I did change my mind. Everyone I've asked has said that a motorcycle would be a bad idea. And yes, this would be for the experience.

So..I was thinking of finding an old car, dismantling it, and selling the parts I don't need to help with expenses.

Any tips?

Buy a golf cart, strip it down to the chassis, keep all the electromechanical gizmos in place, replace the battery with a bigger LiFePO4 pack, and maybe get a lift kit and bigger wheels, replace the seats, the lights, the blinkers, and make an exterior as pleasant as you like, maybe even add solar panels on top.

Never said it would be cheap.

I just really hate gas stations.

Thumbing through any http://www.oeva.org/resources/members/" will give you an idea of the cost and types of cars you can convert. Porsche 914's seem to be a popular conversion. Googling "electric 914" yields 9140 hits.

The above EV club has everything from a 100 mph http://www.evalbum.com/206", along with a couple of 914's.

And it looks as though you can pick up Porsche gliders http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1016976".

Or you can just buy one for € 250 000

In all seriousness buy a small (light) car as possible, hatchback of some make.
