Thanks for posting that video. I've watched it several times prior so what's one more time.
I've also read the Farewell to the Master but it's hard to read in places where alternate words are used to describe some device we use now.
I guess I'll have to revisit both of these and Forbidden Planet. As a kid in the 1950s, I wanted to see more films like these but could never find them.
Now I know why, there weren't any other films for a long time. They were outliers, films ahead of their time, films that defined genres and were the forerunners to many of our current crop of sci-fi movies.
