Can Medical Reasons Derail a Physics Education?

  • Thread starter Airton Gomes de Lima

In summary, while medical reasons can certainly pose challenges to pursuing a physics education, they do not necessarily have to derail one's academic aspirations. With proper accommodations and support, individuals with medical conditions can still excel in the field of physics and achieve their educational goals. It is important for educators and institutions to be understanding and flexible in accommodating the needs of students with medical conditions, as their contributions to the field of physics can be just as valuable and impactful.

Airton Gomes de Lima
Hello everyone!

My name is Airton (I think you can pronounce like "I yrton), I'm from Brazil. I tried to graduate in physics to be a teacher, but by medical reasons I ended leaving the course, and by not using and for not having anyone to talk about physics I ended forgetting almost everything, but I'm trying to return to study this field that I love.

I hope to be helpful!
