I am a normal people but interested in physics really.

I have some theory, and hope to talk with some really smart guy.

It seems like right here cannot discuss personal theory.

That is correct. Personal theories are not acceptable here. The purpose of PF is to discuss main-stream physics.

As you say, we don't discuss personal theories here. However, look through the forums that apply to your ideas and questions, and do some reading to see how much that helps you. Most likely you should start with the threads that are labeled "B" for basic level, and then move on to threads at the "I" intermediate level. There is a lot of great information here at the PF.

I originally found the PF by doing a Google search on some ideas that I had, and as I started reading the threads that Google pointed me to here, I quickly learned that my ideas were way behind the current state of the art of mainstream science. What an eye-opener!

Enjoy the PF

What might be the reason behind that? If I may ask

Because personal theories are inevitably a waste of time and invite crackpots. The specificially stated goal of this forum is to discuss main-stream physics as it is, not as you might think it is or as you think it ought to be. This is a great place to learn actual physics.

The moderators here spend a LOT of time (unpaid) making this a great forum. Personal theories always (it was tried many years ago) end up wasting a lot of their time so such theories/opinions are just not allowed.

Study actual physics and if you have questions this is a great place to get them answered.

That seems a bit restrictive but I can understand. Personally, I feel that people can learn better when they're explained why their ideas don't hold merit.

We've been through this a million times. We are a mainstream science community. We've tried allowing personal theories in the past and it didn't work. Let's move on.
