AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around casting for a film inspired by "Dusk Till Dawn," featuring a mix of horror and dark humor. The film's premise includes a central character, a beautiful and intelligent woman with a twitching eye, who plays a pivotal role in the fate of other characters, many of whom will be killed off. Participants express interest in various roles, including a character in a monkey suit and a lab assistant involved in gruesome experiments. The film is set in a remote scientific research lab in America, where a hurricane causes chaos, leading to medical emergencies and brain surgeries. The dialogue is playful, with contributors suggesting outrageous character arcs, including a victim undergoing brain surgery and a mad biker chick visiting the lab. The tone is lighthearted, with humor interspersed throughout discussions of horror elements and character dynamics, emphasizing the collaborative and improvisational nature of the script development.

For my film, i have the central characters now i need bit part actors, the film will be some what like dusk till dawn ,so some will be killed off, well most will, before the end of the film, but unlike most horror films some will live on, life depends on you being able to out wit the lady with the twitching eye.

Can I play the guy in the monkey suit with the large trout?

You can, but you will be killed off very quickly, one will need an iron will and quick wit to survive
the attention of the main character, who is very beautiful, intelligent, and has no inhibitions.

I can be one of the characters that further aggravates the eye twitching woman--before his (my) doom.

I'll play any part that you want, and I do special-effects and prosthetic makeup as a hobby. You will, however, have to cover my travel expenses.

I think we're going to be paid out of the 'profits'.

That's the one with Ethan Hawke? where he meets this French girl on the train? and they spend the whole movie talking? and maybe they will meet again in one year?

...so some will be killed off, well most will, before the end of the film,

or not

Your death could or all most certainly will be slow and painful, the leading lady likes to play with her captives.

Where is the setting? out on the moors? or in the bogs? or...?

slow and painful-----in the Addams family way

(I getting excited about losing 'a part' already!)

The film starts at a scientific research lab run by an eccentric young lady out in the wilds of America.

"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?"

Women---

-in this case though... The young lady out in the wilds of America----and she's ready for them, along with her team of females----.

Another young very beautiful lady goes to stay with her, this lady has an accident and sustains a bad head wound, because a hurricane has destroyed the only bridge to the property and the phone lines are down the scientist lady has to operate on her, all seems to go well, but there is unseen brain damage.

I think you can play the part of the lab assistant, he gets scalped and has the top of his skull expertly sawn off, and under goes brain surgery, every thing is put back as good as new (you can only see the stitches if you look closely), the only difference now is this guy has no free will.

Oh can I be the flash back person? Perhaps the Mum, who says odd things and warps her daughters mind?

You can be the biology teacher who trained both leading characters how to dissect animals.
several flash backs will show the dissections in detail, and how happy and committed the girls are in their lessons.

Ooh ooh, can you name the hurricane after me?
Leading lady, I nominate Evo. Sawing people's heads and putting them back together looks right down her alley, and of course you said pretty too :!)

Actually the victim is awake for the entire procedure, so start rehearsing your screams and groans.

I'll just tape the next time we have sex and you can play it over the video.

By the way, you do know that brain surgery is painless once you get past the skull, right? There are no sensory neurons in there.

So, like, how do we get in?

If you want to be a victim there is nothing to do, but if you want some how survive to the end of the film, you will have to come up with your part.

Can I be the guy who pops out of nowhere and saves your life by killing off all the zombies that happened to corner you in some room?

Start learning up on the medical stuff as you will be telling your victims what you are doing
step by step.

You can be one of the cops that have to shoot some of the victims.

Of course i know that, i have spent a whole 2 Hrs researching for this film, and the victims will have fewer neurons when Evo has finished with them.

Can I just be a victim then?
Just kidding.

OK--but, are you willing to torture me and several other volunteered bodies (since the script says so)?

She doesn't need a script for that. The fish-whap ceremony is just her warm-up for the rest of her daily routine, which you really don't want to know about.

Why, of course!

Hey Wolram, do you think Moonbear can be my crazed twin/alter ego since Moonbear cuts open sheep brains in real life? Maybe we can use some of her bain surgery videos to help cut costs.

Just kidding.

I want to keep one victim in the lab, a sort of long term experiment Evo is doing, the top of the victims skull is replaced by a clear plastic cap that is easily removable, the experiment involves inserting probes into the brain to electrically stimulate certain areas.

I'm liking this more and more with every post. I've always wanted to be a wirehead.

Cool ideas, there will have to be a few sexy scenes to keep every one happy so you will have to dress sort of gothy vampish.

I don't suppose I can be in it?

The setting, a four bed roomed modern wood built house with attached laboratory at the back,
the house has decking out front and a balcony, 20 or so yards from the house is a large barn,
the nearest town is 30 miles away and the house is along a long drive way leading to a minor road, the surrounding land is flat for about a 1/4 mile then there is wooded land.

Victims can just walk in, survivors have to make them selfs a role.

  • #46
I'll be the lab assistant chick, that drops all the equiptment and serums, which then leads to a major chemical outburst that changes the chemical composition of every human there.

Are you sure the script is ready and doesn't need a revision? There was no water deep enough for keel hauling in your original description of the place.
