Do Quantum Particles Have Physical Volume or Are They Just Points of Energy?

I am only a beginner at this but was wanting a bit of clarification on this.


As far as I can understand at a quantum level every thing, particles etc. are not spheres or dots as we imagine them but they are infinitely small points of energy and mass.

So does this mean that these points take up no physical volume then?

I am not sure if this falls under classical physics or quantum physics or somewhere else (so feel free to put it in the right section), but is there any micro state of the universe one can think of which if evolved under the current laws of nature, inevitably results in outcomes such as a table levitating?
