AI Thread Summary
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's provocative remarks about George W. Bush, where he labeled Bush as "the devil himself" and claimed that his presence left a lingering smell of sulfur at the UN General Assembly, sparked a mix of outrage and amusement. The comments were particularly entertaining to some observers, contrasting sharply with the anger expressed by others, such as the speaker's father. This incident highlights the polarizing nature of political discourse and the ways in which bold statements can elicit strong reactions from different political affiliations.

Do you?

If you want to get a rise out of your liberal friends, just say the magic words.

I happened to be sitting with my dad when this aired, and while he was ranting about how much this ticks him off, I was about falling out of my chair with laughter. I don't think a dictator has ever made me laugh before!
