Here is the problem in Morin. In this problem he takes the person on carousel as origin. Accordingly, when he begins to apply Newton's Law of motion on himself,by the equation of pseudo force, since he is motionless in his own frame, his own acceleration is 0. Further in his own frame he has 0 velocity and we assume that rotational axis be fixed. Further ,we assume that he is moving in circle of fixed radius. Accordingly, all terms get canceled. In the given example then, how did centrifugal term arises if w.r.t non inertial frame he has r=0?

Where did you get that from?

Centrifugal term is zero for r=0. Zero term arises.
