EE Major: Good Career Choice in Robotics?

I was just wondering if robotics would be a good career choice for an EE major (although EE is more or less robotics), and if so...what particular type of robotics? thanks for reading and replying

I've been considering this myself. The actual name for 'robotics' specifically, at least in Canada is Mechatronics. From the research I've done, doing mech basically gets you set up with core stuff from electrical, software, and mechanical engineering.

I'm not aware of any EE program that has a specific 'robotics' side, unless it's specifically designing control systems.
