AI Thread Summary
Electrostatic refers to stationary electricity, while electricity generally involves moving charges. Static electricity is characterized by a charge that remains in place, whereas dynamic electricity involves the flow of charges. The distinction between the two is important for understanding electrical concepts. The phrasing of "electricity is electricity moving" may be considered awkward. Overall, the discussion clarifies the difference between static and dynamic electricity.

more specifically, Static electricity is a charge that isn't moving and electricity is a charge that is moving.

You got the right idea. It's just that, to say "electricity is electricity moving" is a little... weird.
