Is financial engineering my answer to solving complex financial problems?

In summary, the conversation is about someone seeking help in financial engineering and asking if they are in the right place. The other person responds by offering guidance on where to post their question, either in the Homework Help forums for schoolwork questions or the Academic Guidance forum for advice on classes and schools.

Welcome to the PF.

I have no idea what financial engineering is, but depending on the question, you can post in one of two places here:

-1- If it is a homework/schoolwork question, please post in the Homework Help forums. When you start a new thread there, you will be provided a Template to fill out with the question, the relevant equations, and your work on a solution.

-2- If you want to ask for advice about what classes to take in school or which school to attend, post in the Academic Guidance forum.
