Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around finding a replacement for the LM1013 integrated circuit (IC), specifically clarifying the correct part number and exploring alternatives. The scope includes technical specifications and availability of the LT1013 and related components.

Discussion Character

  • Technical explanation, Debate/contested

Main Points Raised

  • One participant requests help in finding a replacement for the LM1013 IC.
  • Another participant questions the accuracy of the part number, noting the absence of a datasheet for LM1013.
  • A participant suggests that the intended part may be the LT1013, which is also referred to as LXM 1013 by Maxim.
  • After clarification, the original poster confirms they meant the LT1013 and mentions the 2N4401 transistor.
  • A participant provides a link to the LT1013 datasheet and mentions its availability for purchase, along with its inclusion in LTSpice software.
  • Another participant inquires about the reason for seeking a replacement and requests specifications to better understand the requirements, noting the difficulty in matching all parameters.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants have clarified the correct part number and discussed the availability of the LT1013. However, there is no consensus on the necessity for a replacement or the specific requirements for an alternative.

Contextual Notes

Participants have not fully defined the specifications or requirements for the replacement, which may affect the discussion on suitable alternatives.

Who May Find This Useful

I've searched for LM1013 but I have not found any datasheet. Are you sure you got the part number correct?

Do you mean an LT 1013, which Maxim calls an LXM 1013?

yes sorry i meant LT 1013 and 2n4401 transistor please

LT1013 is available, is there a reason why you want to replace it? If so, what is your requirement? It is impossible to match every parameters, but if you give the spec of what you need in the opamp, that would be much easier.
