Homework Statement



Trying to normalize the first excited state. I have,

[tex]1 = |A_1|^2(i\omega\sqrt{2m}) \int_{-\inf}^{\inf} x \exp(-m\omega x^2/2\hbar)[/tex]

How do I do the integral so I don't get zero since it's an odd funciton?

By calculating [itex]\int \psi^*(x)\psi(x)dx[/itex].
