AI Thread Summary
Users are seeking assistance with inserting mathematical symbols like velocity and angular velocity into their posts. The solution involves clicking the sum symbol in the icon bar for easier formula writing, which is preferred over manual coding. However, some users experience issues where symbols appear at the beginning of their replies instead of the intended insertion point. It is noted that for more complex formulas, using LaTeX is recommended, and users are directed to the FAQ for guidance. Overall, the discussion highlights the challenges and solutions related to formatting mathematical symbols in posts.

ϑϑϑϑϑBetter than writing ##\#\###\ne##\#\### and much better than writing != for ...not equal to... :)

But I find that the symbols (five theta's) pop up at the very beginning of the reply, not at the insertion point ?!

δ∅⇒ Must be my computers, they write the symbols at the head of the post, not where the cursor is ...
(IE 11, W7 64)

They (should) always appear at the end. That's just the way the javascript code works.
